Kouvola Innovation is dedicated to adding value into the business life and to contribute to sustainable development of the business sector in Kouvola to become the most magnetic and dynamic business environment in south-eastern Finland.

As an economic policy actor, Kouvola Innovation produces services in accordance with the economic development strategy of the city of Kouvola, develops economic activities, assists in networking between business partners, and is also responsible
of the economical marketing of the region as a whole.

As its priority actions Kouvola Innovation has set the structural change of the business sector of Kouvola region, to support small and medium size businesses and entrepreneurship, and to develop revenue of tourism and the business environment
of the region (employees, business premises, services, and infrastructure).
