At present Kouvola Innovation operates in five key business areas:

BUSINESS

The business sector serves entrepreneurs and companies in the region and provides guidance in establishing companies in Kouvola region.

TOURISM

The tourism sector serves tourists and tourism entrepreneurs in the region and is responsible of tourism marketing.

DEVELOPMENT

The development sector is responsible for all project-oriented operations and mainly for development projects financed by external entities.
Project activity is divided by industry into four key sectors and into regional business development projects regardless of sector: forest- energy-environment, tourism and leisure, information and communication operations (e.g .DigiKouvola), development projects in logistics and projects regardless of sector.
