Kouvola is a fascinating combination of hundreds of lakes, wonderful nature, history, sports teams of the championship level, city activities, and friendly people. Kouvola is also one of the largest cities of summer cottages, and some of its area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The tourism and leisure development projects are conducted in close cooperation with local tourism businesses and other interest groups.

The main goal of the development work is to increase the income produced by tourism in the region. In our development work, we also consider it important that the locals feel at home here and that we have developing places to visit.
