Centre of Logistics

Kouvola has the largest railway yard for freight traffic in Finland.

This railway yard also serves as a centre for containers and a terminal for international whole trainloads and also as a technology centre for rail vehicles and railway construction.

There are approximately 200,000 square metres of covered-in terminals in the area of the Kouvola centre of logistics with a trading, wholesale, and customs clearance centre for the international traffic. There are several international service companies with their networks operating in the area.
